Experience Preferred But Not Essential (training will be given)
South Coast Marquees is a family run marquee hire business, based in Lymington, Hampshire who have pride in building and delivering weddings and events across the South Coast.
We’re a fast paced business with energy who are looking to grow our team in preparation for the success of our 2024 operation. We’re seeking marquee labourer(s) to carry out the successful installation of various marquee structures including luxury traditional pole marquees and stretch tents.
The ideal candidates will be ambitious, committed and resilient and who are enthusiastic, forward thinking and have the adaptability to overcome problems when they arise. Most of all, they will enjoy working as part of a fun team and enjoy the camaraderie that goes with it!
Mandatory Requirements
• Fit To Complete All Physical Requirements of the Role
• English Speaking.
• Available Full Time Between April-September (including weekends as required).
• Positive & Flexible Working Attitude.
Desirable Requirements
• Full Clean UK Driving Licence (if so must be +23yrs for insurance purposes)
• Previous experience working with marquees or temporary structures.
• UK Trailer Licence.
Main Duties
• Complete installation/take-down of required marquees and all interior and external fit-outs.
• Maintenance of all hire stock.
• Maintenance of warehouse space.
• If applicable, driving and maintaining a range of vehicles and trailers.
• Maintaining our high standard of working practices and finish.
Advantageous Skills (Non-essential, training, development, and opportunity will be offered to the right candidate)
• Electrical certification.
• Plant machinery tickets and experience.
• First Aid certification.
• Carpentry skills.

Contract duration and remuneration depend upon experience & circumstances.
